02 Persona
On November 12, we had a team meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to collect all the information we gathered up until now, in order to create a "persona" that will fit our potential future user. Our persona was created based on common features we identified among the users we interviewed. At the end, we came up with "Shoshanna", a 1st year law student, originally from French, who study in the international school. We created a whole life story for Shoshanna, from her background in French to her daily hobbies, in order to really treat her as an existing being. We talked about her challenges and needs based on the ones we identified from real life users, and purified them into a few specifics core needs which all based on the fact she has language difficulties. We used quotes from the interviews we held in order to keep it as much authentic and realistic as we can. Regarding existing solutions, in addition to the solutions we heard about the users we interviewed we also researched the web to learn about more ways to handle language limitations and gaps. It all lad us to be able to phrase our "how might we..." question, which is the outcome of the puzzle we formed from all the pieces. It was an efficient meeting that helped us clarified the identity of our users, and focused us on the needs we are aiming to solve.
